update: UncleVibes is helping me now- serial number has been verified (but still getting "invalid key" messages)- should be cleared up soon!

Last update: UncleVibes issued me a new serial number and it worked! Even though the original serial number was verified, it for some reason always generated "invalid key" upon installation. Thanks again to all for the kind help!
