Re: Analysis Status Column?

Postby ddjj on 17 Jul 2014, 22:34

Thanks for your help so far:

For the AV you should exclude several folders
- peak/analyses
- collection
- program files/mixvibes
Especially the first 2 are important. As Cross is constant reading and writing the AV can cause significant delays (in computer time).

Not quite sure how to do this, I am looking into it! Same with the powermax for cpu...

But I can say I turn off the McAfee AV that I have....as far as the instances, they are random and doesn't seem to matter what kind of file! I can never duplicate the problem.....I do run the file thru MP3 gain at 93, and update the file name and genre in MP3@TAG

Thx

Just to be clear.
There is no need for to separate collections. However, if you are going to be back and forward between 2.6 and 3.2,then you do need to keep 2 separate analysis directories. I keep 2.6 pointed to Peaks and 3.2 pointed to analyses. If you point both version to the same analysis directory then your beatgrids are going to be off in one version and correct in the other one or viceversa.
