Go into your setting and switch to internal mixer. Also in the video tap section within settings, make sure that enable video is on. After that check to see if you at least get the a little chain link icon next to the crossfader.
I do but when I use external mixer for audio the fader does not control viddeo only audio transition... so I wonder do I need another mixer that can do that since both are separate. .. thank you...

From what you saying, yes you do get the link icon. Just wanted to get that out of the way to verify that video is enabled in your system. Sounds like your mixer is not MIDI capable. In that case you will need a supplemental MIDI controller or a MIDI capable mixer. MIDI devices must have a connection to the computer in order to send and receive MIDI signals. If your mixer does not have a connection to the computer (all connections are audio) then your mixer is not MIDI capable.

i think the main point of figs postings is the compatibility and avaibility of having a mapping already made /set up for Cross ,, at least you would not have to start from scratch ,,not shure of your price range and also,,using you existing sc ,, one option is to get the U-Mix Control Pro ,, ,,sound card already and also enuff inputs to use your turntables for t c control ,,
