You're right. Not visible where I pointed you. Likely has to do with the setup you have. I don't use vinyl nor external mixer.

It should be at the left, next to the button that states 'Screen' in the middle.

I guess if you change to 'dual stereo' it becomes visible. I don't know for sure how it is supposed to work in your setup. The best result I can help you with would be that you know where the link button can be seen....
Might not help you out yet, but think Fig (or others) have the appropriate experience.

Just for checking your set up and I know you are using external mixer.

Go into your setting and switch to internal mixer.
Also in the video tap section within settings, make sure that enable video is on.
After that check to see if you at least get the a little chain link icon next to the crossfader.

From what you saying, yes you do get the link icon. Just wanted to get that out of the way to verify that video is enabled in your system.

Sounds like your mixer is not MIDI capable. In that case you will need a supplemental MIDI controller or a MIDI capable mixer. MIDI devices must have a connection to the computer in order to send and receive MIDI signals. If your mixer does not have a connection to the computer (all connections are audio) then your mixer is not MIDI capable.

I stopped using external mixing a long time ago. Now I use controllers. Therefore, a recommendation on a mixer from me would probably not be the best one right now. I would have to research the current products in the market in order to provide you an informed recomendation.

So there is a challenge, any MIDI enable mixer (unless is a Mixvibes suppoerted HID capable) would have to be map to the fuctions that you want.

If a suplemental controller or mixer is not directly supported by Mixvibes, then you will have to built the MIDI map yourself. This is not so difficult oonce you get the principles but if it is your 1st time mapping a MIDI device there is going to be a learning curve and it is going to take some time.

All that being said, I use 2 Quneos as supplemental controllers. The Quneo is very powerful and flexible but with all that power it can be challenging to map correctly.

Another product that call my attention is the Pioneer DDJ-SP1. This is an excellent supplental controller made for DJs that use external mixing but want additional controls for locators (cue points) samples, FX and other things. I am looking to get one myself but this is pricey and still need to be mapped as it is not directly supported by Mixvibes.

Hopefully, someone with more current knowledge of mixers that are MIDI capable can shime in.

 i think the main point of figs postings is the compatibility and avaibility of having a mapping already made /set up for Cross ,, at least you would not have to start from scratch ,,not shure of your price range and also,,using you existing sc ,, one option is to get the U-Mix Control Pro ,, ,,sound card already and also enuff inputs to use your turntables for t c control ,,
