U-Mix Control Pro - Soundcard problem (solved)

Yes it's a fresh install as I moved from Win7 to 8 (formatted HDD) and it's the control pro "1".
I deselected U-Mix from default devices on both playback and recording, but it didn't seem to help for now.

However i don't have drivers and volume panel installed, as everything worked in Win7 without them. I guess I have to try and see if they'll do the trick. I used Cross 2.0 in Win7 by the way, if that changes anything

in Cross ,preferences/audio is U-Mix reconized a asio U-Mix,,, will look up the link for the latest driver ,,and post as i get a chance lets us know your progress ,,pleanty of us hear to help

You were spot on, Daniel!

Installed the volume-panel/driver and now Cross sees U-Mix as "Asio" as you said. Now I get sound out of Cross too, so all seems to be fine

I guess on W7 you installed it from cd (drivers installed in a the same row) and on W8 from file update (audio drivers not included).
