Whichever output works with your desired display.

HDMI may be nice because it's easily converted to DMI or plugged into larger TVs but most projectors prefer VGA - though many have DMI inputs as well.

If you're sending to multiple devices some have a pass-thru VGA (like projectors). Otherwise you'll need a distribution box to support multiple devices.

So the answer is.... it depends. ;)

So i have my laptop set up top the LCD TV via HDMI. It shows everything that im doing but it wont show just the videos it self with out everyone seeing the program on the tv?

You're set to mirror the display - turn off mirroring and set it to extend the desktop (on the PC).

That should fix your issue.

You're right!! I finally did everything like you said and it worked!!!

Now i have to find Music Videos. Just don't have the money. I need atleast 5 hours worth of music videos to start off.

It's the 'new and improved' 8th wonder. While the videos aren't the best quality in the world, for under $20/month and lots of downloading you should get enough to start building your library.

Alternatively, look at local pawn shops, etc. You never know what you'll find. Might make it easy to get the videos you need pretty cheaply.
