Still not clear for me :
- you want the U-Mix44 as your main soundcard : set it into windows panel.
- you want to record audio from web site : simply record the stereo mix outputs of your internal soundcard as a source, you don't need to make any loop from outputs to inputs.
- you have buzzing : check electrical connection, ground or use some D.I.

why should the U-Mix not work with iTunes?
might your U-Mix is not the problem but iTunes?

yes iv checked it just wont play same with games wont work but if i had my headset on after awhile plug it out then the sound works is it frailty.has anyone else had problems like mine?

This is NO hardware issue. It is an internal sound routing problem in Windows. You are using many devices which get switched while some of them are offline. Dig through your settings and get the problem solved.
This is definitely NO mixvibes issue, neither soft- nor hardware!

you mean some usb headset or? it was connected to your laptop as well as your U-Mix. then you plugged out your headset and the sound starts working from your U-Mix, did i understand you correctly? Its difficult because your , . ! ? are rare

ok turn on laptop loads up only U-Mix 44 sound is on. if i go into iTunes press play noting happens.if i plug out u-mix44 close iTunes and open again it works.plug in u-mix44 crash.i go windows player it works.if play a game no sound.so if i have u-mix44 main sound and play a game but no sound so i plugged in headset play the game away after awhile i plug it out and there was sound form u-mix44?

Just curious ,have you tried to use the Cross le software with the sc in the configuration as per manual set up ,, and if so what was the outcome ,,, f it works properly with the software then its not a faulty hardware ,but a matter of sysem config that is the issue with all thease other setup you are trying to accomplish,,, just a thought ,,,if you havent been able to get it running with the software then thats the info that will help us figure out why the more info and screen shots as to set up and audio config wil give clues as to whats going wrong ,,
