Use the u46Mk2 as an normal soundcard or as backup if the U-Mix Control Pro will not work anymore (this would be the first time I hear that one of both are broken - external interfere like over voltage and so on is an other section ;)).

Drop outs: Then you have to check and optimise your computer for audio applications.
Disable all running background programs you not need, also clean up the harddisc and defrag the harddrive.
Check also the CPU usage if it is too high and you have also drop outs increase the latency (decrease will use more CPU)

regards
Christian

Hi!
There is no over voltage going to the U46 MK II since it is connected with the USB cable provided in the pack. It sends the signal (from the mix out on the U46 MK II as i am able to hear it on my speakers) but when i connect it to the channels at the back of the MIDI controller im not able to hear anything from the head phones on the U-Mix Control Pro. Do i leave the settings as Dual stereo or what should the setting be for routing cos I've been trying to use the output routing to external mixer when actually its a MIDI controller.

Once again I'm sending my Laptop spec's to you.

Acer Laptop
Windows 7
Intel core B940 processor (2.0GHz, 2MB L3 cache)
Intel HD Graphics
15.6" HD LED LCD
2GB DDR3 memory
500GB HDD
DVD Super Multi DL Drive
Acer nplify 802.11 b/g/n
6 cell Li-ion battery.

Thanks,
Brian.

Hey,
You misunderstood me with my last post. I meantiont that you can use the u46 if the U-Mix Control Pro will fail like when over voltage and so on. The U-Mix Control Pro has a good sound card built in so will not need to connec the u46 too. Use the internal sound card of the U-Mix Control Pro set I up like it is written on the Manuel and everything should work out of the box.

The u46 you can use as backup or as normal sound card or different setup. (like u46 for home use as a nice 5.1 surround card ;)).

With this computer specs you should not get drop outs but if you set the latency to low or running to much programs in background you will get them too.

Regards
Christian

just use a microfibre cloth and some cleaning fluid, or if you have one, use a vinyl-washer.

no difference to regular records, it´s still the same material.

I dont recommend that from a chemical pov.
The glue possibly contains solvents that might chap the vinyl.

Not saying this will happen, but I just wouldnt do it.
There are reliable and cheap washing machine out there.
e.g. http://www.knosti.de/deutsch/vinyl/disc ... eraet.html

It´s around 35€ streetprice, and I´m shure you´ll get similar machines everywhere.
