Thanks, but to do this for +/- 500 tracks is going to take me a loooong time. This is not a solution, rather a quick fix, that is not quich at all.

When I browse for music using the UI (Files) in Cross 1.7 and previous versions, The Artist, Title and Album columns display these characters.
I have also tried deleting some of the *.analisys files and the files in my collection, then closing and re-opening Cross, browse to those tracks and the problem still exists.

I dont know what to rty next???

It's not going to take more than 5 minutes for 500 tracks. I have done other things (renaming) for 10000 tracks in a few minutes.

Download mp3tag (it's free) and drop all your music files (control+a to mark all). Mark all in mp3tag with contol+a, make a right mouse clik and select "convert" and "filenane to tag" so you can fix your tag in case they have chinese fonts. Please just be careful, when selecting "finame to tag", a window is opening and give you the option to select which field will be displaying. Sorry for my english and i hope it helps.

Hay Stelios,

Thanks for the information. I'm busy doing this right now.
I downloaded Mp3Tag v2.49, added some tracks to the list, then I select convert Filename to Tag.. When that box pops up to change the format, I change it to "%artist% - %title%", and it works fine like that. Thanks again for the help.
