american audio 14mrx mapping problems

Trying to map mrx14 via software but get error message so can not map.

Any way I can get help or mapping for my american audio 14mrx unit please.

Hi, welcome to Mixvibes,

Mapping shouldn't be difficult to start... Could you please explain what you did and what the message is.

General would be to copy a similar MIDI mapping, select it and assign buttons/controls that are different.

To set the feedback (e.g. LEDs) is some more work, but only useful to start doing once the mapping functions...

Thank you for replying to my issue.
method used;
laptop running and activate djcross,
connect usb from mixer, turn on mixer,
select MIDI and go to add new and name,
select simple option Cross fader or master vol and operate a control on the mixer,ie Cross fader.
No reaction on screen and operation check does not operate selected control.
I have started mixer in mixer mode and in controller mode, same result.
Also NO ERROR messages

MIDI devices should be connected and recognised by the OS before starting Cross.

Same applies for soundcards.

the OS is showing the mixer as software device MIDI in MIDI out.

when I re try to map the tab shows my mixer but when I select a function to map ie main vol and then move my mixer vol knob nothing displays on screen for me to ok.

I am some what lost now as have follow Utube video and seems simple.

I am try this with just the mixer connected and in controller mode with no speakers connected fo info

you have installed the drivers of the mixer that are in the download section of adj group ?
I have mapped 19mxr but I used the app is in the forum to map MIDI in and MIDI out!

I forgot you put the channel selectors on usb?

drivers downloaded when installed mixer. Mixer shows in device manager as MIDI in MIDI out, toggles set to usb, and tried as both controller mode and mixer mode.

mixer comes up in MIDI mapping as a tab showing mixer at top of MIDI mapping page.

Nothing then happens when you select a function to map after you are asked to move a control.

but I'm getting a doubt? the version of the Cross that you and free or for a fee? because Cross DJ free does not support MIDI mapping!

Hi to confirm I have paid for a licenced copy of Cross, and entered the licence code.
