This happens either with Cross 2.4.0 or VirtualDJ so i assume its a hardware issue. How can i get a replacement fader since I am under warranty?
Hello, There's a crossfader curve potentiometer on the controller. Check its position and/or change it to find your setting!

Are you sure you really checked the crossfader curve setting? FYI, you can also see it in the general preferences. If yes, contact N-deep by PM.

I need a replacement xfader too (bleeding - UMX CTRL PRO 2). PMd N-deep twice with no answer just like you. I've searched the fourms, tested all the possible settings in the software and hardware and even referenced the manual I've read cover to cover several times. I've tested it with Mixxx, and VDJ, and its definitely a hardware problem. I guess fixing the video in 3.0 is a bigger priority.
Still, this is an easy fix, but you can't fix it! I can't find the specific fader anywhere (405-UMIXPA-2804, 29-SEP-2010, VR602, yea, I voided my warranty trying to fix it). You'd think a company that built their reputation on DVS would have thought of putting a *quality replaceable xfader* into their flagship controller. Not this Alpha Mono 3-pin VCA crap. Looks like MV had them custom made and then kept the surplus so even the distributors would have to buy from them. I'm trying to find an equivalent somewhere in the states. Its a shame. I really like this piece of kit for its "hybrid" functionality, and portability. I've hooked up every possible setup in the manual and this lil baby is amazing! And to be put out of commission by of all things, a failed xfader (yes, I know you can use the channel faders which I do, but it's not the same, and in today's market I really shouldn't have to).
I'll keep anyone interested updated on my progress (or lack thereof), for the sake of posterity.

Hey guys,
I also have a problem with my crossfader - when going to left side, it jumps suddenly a bit to the right and fades in the right sound. After going to the middle and then left again, it stops - but still that is a problem.
Can I also contact N-Deep?
I live in Frankfurt, where the "Musikmesse" is this week. Could I get a replacement there if I bring mine with me, or a repair?
Greetz, Akis.
