Solved...unable to hear anything with headphones

I do not hear anythign out of my headphones. I am using the U-Mix Control Pro connected directly to an alienware laptop. I followed the directions for set up and I hear nothing. I have a gigi tonight and would really like to use my new mixer.

HELP!!!!

software Cross DJ
mixer - U-Mix Control Pro
PC - alienware laptop
sound setup: dual stereo with master going to output one and cue to output 2.


How do I know the U-Mix integrated soundcard is working????

I have done all the above requests. I have this controller working on my M14 alienware but not on the M11xR2 alienware . Here is a screenshot of my audio mapping issue:



steps not able to accomplish:

8 Open the upper list box Audio Device and select
MixVibes ASIO U-Mix Control Pro.

instead i am able to select (more specifically):
speakers MixVibes ASIO U-Mix Control Pro

10 Open the list box Output 1. On Windows select U-Mix Control Pro 1/U-Mix
Control Pro 2 ->>>>>>>>This output receives the Master out signal.

only the following dropdown item is available for selection: Left/Right

11.Open the list box Output 2. On Windows select U-Mix Control Pro 3/U-Mix
Control Pro 4 if these outputs are not already
selected. ---->>>>>>>>>>>This output receives the Cue/Monitor signal.

I am unable to hear anything out of the headphones on my U-Mix Control Pro since installing Cross DJ 1.7.1. I have all of the updates but no joy. Do you have any iodeas?

how do you configured your audio setting in Cross DJ?
Some more information would be helpful.

Looks like you don't have asio drivers installed.

Hi,

I have attached a picture showing my audio settings which should be the system default settings as i have not changed. The laptop is connected to the U-Mix Control Pro via the usb and I am trying to run the U-Mix Control Pro through my home audio system using the standard white and red audio cable.

The problem is that I cant get an output from the U-Mix Control Pro through the output ports (to speakers) or through the headphones. Do you need anymore info?

Click the drop down where "Speaker..." is shown. There you can choose the U-Mix Control Pro

It would not let me select it at first so I reinstalled the drivers and it is now working again. Thanks for your help!
