Kontrol X1 not working with Cross 3.3??

Hi, can someone please help me.. I have set up kontrol X1 as it said to, but it's not working.. It only allows me to scroll through tracks but it won't load them.. And the effects parameters will move, but doesn't actually affect the sound??
