Using Multi-Channel Soundcard

Postby kit-kat on 02 Jun 2016, 04:34

I'm trying to set up things so I can have one stereo output for speakers and another for headphones.
I have a multi (6) channel soundcard, but although it works fine with other programs and even VirtualDJ, I can not find how to set the outputs from Cross DJ LE 2.6.0 to use 2 sets of stereo outputs.
I can select the multi channel card, but only get a "left/right" choice when I select the outputs.
If I set "Output 1" to "Left/Right" and then go to set "Output 2" the only option is "Left/Right" and that switches off/replaces the settings for "Output 1"

I've got to be missing something simple.
Any advice, please?

OS is WIN7

Got ASIO4All and all working perfectly now thanks.

Also want to use this setup with a Win10 laptop, will I need other drivers/software versions, or sshould it work "as is"?

Want to use this setup on a Win10 laptop as well, should it all work the same, or will I need different software/drivers?

Works the same.
However Cross LE 2.6 isn't compatible with W10. It may work but isn;t supported.

The current 3.3.11 version of Cross DJ is compatible with W10. For this you would have to upgrade. You can try the Cross Demo version before upgrade. Please also check the product comparison chart as the Demo has also functions for Cross (Full).

Soundcard not available/working? Try the 32bit version of Cross (is also installed).
