The default mappings can't be found.
You have to make a copy in Cross MIDI editor.
The copy will be in a path like
C:/users/username /appdata /roaming /mixvibes / and then controller/mappin or such.
Given different behaviour you either had a personal mapping before or you now have a different Vfx mapping selected.
