just for giggles ,,look in the MIDI mapping and select one of the other maps for the umcp2 ,,and see if you get e same responce ,,no blinking online icon when activating ,, if light blinks and Cross fader responds then ,,go back to the original mapping to verfy that the MIDI commands are the same ,,,

these are some of the things i would have tried on my controller,just to see if it not a hardware failure ,, not sure what else to suggest ,

Hey there,

Is it possible to get an old UMCP2 firmware as my controller has completely crashed, i tried to upgrade the firmware but failed, and the website does not have any firmware for the UMCP2,

What makes you think there is something wrong with the firmware.

Did you somehow force the wrong firmware or did it abort upon recognizing the wrong controller.

It would be really strange if there is something wrong with the firmware.
