Cross not syncing

I am having problems getting my tracks to sync. I am playing from my playlists that have been analyzed in collections. I keep trying to sync tracks that should work together on "key" but they refuse to sync. All my tracks used to sync seamlessly by pressing the sync button but this seems to have changed. I now have to press play and then sync the tracks straight away which is different (but manageable). I am currently mixing with beat match.

Does anybody have any ideas of what could be going wrong for me.

What are the values in Preferences.

- sync mode to Cycle?
- sync link Enabled?

Thanks Rojec, why on cycle and not on beat?

1 cycle = 4 bar= 16 beats.

This is basic structure of (digital.) Music.

I would recommend to use cycle until your skills rise to the level of mixing bars or beats.

You can train yourself by doing the sync manual. You'll experience what happens how it influences sound and rhythm.
