Numark mixdeck wont connect to laptop

I bought the mixvibes software and every time i connect my mixdeck controller i go to prefrencess and i click on MIDI it reads no device

The controller has to be recognised by the OS before Cross is started.

You should use the same USB port as changing port triggers a new install.

Sometimes a reboot is needed after a controller is connected to a new USB port.

I have windows not mac how do you make it recognized?

Usually just plug in and wait a while like any usb device.

It's just important to not start Cross before nor change port after Cross started.
