I tunes files are blocked, not found in Cross DJ

Hello,
If I select a iTunes file in Cross DJ it is directly flagged with a red square with a black Cross. Error: Can't load track file not found.

On opening Cross DJ (2.6.0) I get a popup to download version 3.2.1.
That's what I did however if I try to install the download on my mac I get another error: Cross DJ 3.2.1.dmg image not recognised.

I think these two issues relate but don't know how to fix it.
Anyone any thoughts?

You likely upgraded to Yosemite and or new iTunes. These are only compatible with the latest versions of Cross 3.3.x.
