There is no doubt that you can use that unit for video mixing. However, the main challenge would be not so much the MIDI input commands from the unit to the Cross GUI but mapping the proper response from the GUI back to the controller for proper feedback.

So i would be able to map the video Cross fader on the Cross gui to the stanton MIDI controler so it be easier to make the mix. One last question is how can i record video audio mix if i have two different sources for video an audio. I can record video fine but how can they both record at the same time... THank you !

Any one could advise regarding Vestax PMC-05 Pro IV its a MIDI mixer and has few videos on youtube where you can control the fader and music as its a MIDI mixer. Would that work with Cross 3.1.

The reloop mixer is audio and MIDI ....you need to do a firmware update

You don't Need another MIDI controller

I use a Vestax VCI 400 - it has 2 faders... a typical crossfader at the bottom, and a second one towards the top in the middle - i remapped the 2nd one for use when I am VJing. Picture Below :lol:
