Mapping the Filter on the U-Mix Control Pro 2

Postby rhopkins on 12 Jul 2014, 02:21

Hi guys,

I have a UMCP2 and have the gain nob mapped to the bi-filter. The centre point is no filter applied. Trouble is, I've experienced thisnow for a few versions of Cross, which means I can't use it.

So I'm after alternatives, and also enhancements...

I have a theory that the filter pop problem wouldn't exist if there was a way to turn the filter on and off properly. I know there is such a command, but....

EDIT: I tried mapping the Sync button to toggle filter on/off and whilst it works two things cause another problem:

1) The filter turns on and off but the LED in the UI doesn't toggle.
2) When I turn the gain nob back to the centre the filter is turned on as I do that.

How do I get around this?

What could be is that your up/down values are not capable of having 0 as a result. You might try lower values to see if it can be done.
Some faders have a push functions so you can have this for setting it to 0 (or the value for top position).

Don't know of the orgination pop issue is resolved.

Soundcard not available/working? Try the 32bit version of Cross (is also installed).
