Invalid Cross key?

I've owned a copy of Cross since 1.40. As of today, I still use 1.5.4. Sorry, I love the Delay+ fx, but you guys removed it in later versions so I refused to update Cross. Plus, its pretty stable for me. Anyway, I downloaded the latest Cross update yesterday, and when I started the program it asked for my key, but I get a message saying my key is invalid.

I still have 1.5.4 installed on my machine. Do I need to remove it in order to get the new version of Cross to work? I remember having multiple versions of the program installed on my computer at one time before and not having this issue. So, what's the deal?

I can use my initial 1.7 key still, so is there any chance you mistyped or changed upper/lower? (Might be that someone with more historical knowledge provides the right answer)

The versions are installed side by side, but beware that your collection -database is upgraded and not backwards compatible. (so backup first if you still want to use it later).

Not sure if the settings file is used the same way as back then.

Can't tell about the 1.5, but guess the current version FX is just as good as the old one... Just give it a try.

Also in 3.1 (basically in the in between versions) changes are made that require reanalyses (partly). So if you want to be able to go back, you'd better copy your peak folder (new name is analysis folder).
