Sorry for another noobish question! But couldn't find it in the manual. Can I change the default playing mode of samples? I don't want it on repeat and I don't want it to play the sample automatically after I define it, as happens now.

Also, I can't seem to understand how to clear a sample (not the whole bank).

right the top of the sample you are concerened with ,,should have a tab to unload sample pad ,, also click where the loop sign is in the sample pad should toggle between the mode ,,one shot, loop , and hold ,,try that ,,not in the manual ,,

Found the unload sample (don't know how I didn't see it before).
For the playing mode, I see how to change it after I load the sample from a song. But I don't want it to automatically play the sample after I load it.

Ok that helped. So I understand there is no way of keeping it always in the "hold" play mode instead of the loop... I always need to change it when starting new sample bank.

i kinda remembering a edit function thats in the sample banks info ,, where you can change the play mode and also the tempo ,, open up a set up sample bank (the sample bank tab ) scroll where the sample say what play stae its in ,,you might see a little arrow up/down to change state ,, other than when you set up the sample ,,the setting should stay the same be saved ,, in perferences do you have tool tips hightlighted
