U-Mix Control Pro 2 - Device In Use

Aaaaand I've fixed it!

(Sorry for all the replies to myself, but hopefully this will help others).

I went into Windows Playback Devices, ticked "Disable All Enhancements" (for both my laptop speakers and UMCP2, except the formers wording was "Disable all sound effects").

I saved this setting and then went back to each device and unchecked the options under the Advanced Tab that read "Allows applications to take exclusive control of this device" and "Give exclusive mode applications priority". I saved and exited. Then i re-opened and checked those options again so that they were now ticked. Saved.

Started Cross and all was fine!!
