is U-Mix Control pro2 lock(only can use on one PC)?

Hi, i just bought U-Mix Control pro2 and it include with Cross DJ software. I already install the software on my laptop and it work perfect also done updating all update.

Then i install the software on my home desktop. Software can be open fine but i cant use with my U-Mix Control Pro 2 with the software on my desktop also It kept saying (ERROR WHILE OPENING, saying other processed use the device. Abit confuse with the alert actually. Which device does the software means? I tried every suggestion on this forum but still cant fix this problem.

Does this control have limit or lock from using other computer? I had read the FAQ and told the software serial can be use with two computer. How about the control?

If u guys had same problem and solve it please do share.

Hey,

no the device has no limitations on how many Computers you use it.
This error message means that the device is used by an other process from your Computer that means that like your Windows is using the device as a soundcard.
But Asio can only be used by ONE process. So check all if there is a process like Windows Audio which is using the device.
Also shut down the Computer. Disconnect the device, restart the Computer and connect the device again. Start than Cross DJ. Is the issue still there?

The error still there. already tried your tips. maybe i should format my PC then install back the software.

anyone have tips how to check which processor is using my device? before i format my PC.( the last option ).

Have you look at your sc setting in your operating system when you have the controller pluged up and running Cross , if it shows that its being used by the o s then you need to change it ,, Cross and operating system cant use the same sc at the same time ,, use the computer default/installed sc in stead of the U-Mix sc ,,, so that Cross can use it ,
