U-Mix Control Pro 2 and Timecode Setup

Hi guys,

Pretty sure I'm having a dumb moment here. I have done this before but it's been a while.

I have my two turntables plugged into inputs 1/2 and 3/4 of my UMCP2. They are switched on. Cross 2.4 is in Dual Stereo routing mode. Under the Vinyl/CD settings tab both Control Deck tick boxes are selected and I can calibrate both decks.

The weird thing is, the UI doesn't change; the only way I control both Cross decks is via the UMCP2, even though I can click the artwork and see the vinyl spinning. Cross can see my turntables but I can't seem to get Cross to be controlled by them!

I've missed something obvious here, haven't I? Help

(Note that I haven't only just connected the turntables, they've always been connected, just unused for a couple of months...)

Have you tried "External Mixer" routing?

Doesn't change the UI still - the CUE and PLAY buttons are still there.

Found the problem! There's now a little icon int he top right-hand corner of the waveform window. You have to click either 1 or 2 to use the control deck. That then changes the UI and enables you to use the control deck setup to, erm, control your decks!

Haha! It also took me time to find this detail out in the newer versions and while using the UMCP2...but very handy!
