On the ne w CrossDJ 3.4 mappings I see the following commands
In&Out fam(Player)[0x1].SyncWithMaster (Logic)
In fam(Player)[0x1].MatchWithMaster (Trigger)
I want to make sure that I understand the difference between them.
In my understanding is that
In&Out fam(Player)[0x1].SyncWithMaster (Logic),
will sync the player as it is set on preference to either beat, bar or cycle. in my case I got my system set up for beat so the sync button in the GUI just syncs to that level.
On the other command
In fam(Player)[0x1].MatchWithMaster (Trigger)
My thinking is that this command completely matchest the player to the master in full phase. Meaning it not only matches the beat but also the 16 beat cycle to the same as the Master.
If someone please can confirm my assumption or correct me.
Additionaly, on the following command
In fam(Player)[0x1].MatchWithMaster (Trigger)
I did not see a mapping for the UMCP-2 using this command, I did see one for the
In&Out fam(Player)[0x1].SyncWithMaster (Logic),
which is the sync button in the GUI as well as in the controller but is there a button in the GUI for
In fam(Player)[0x1].MatchWithMaster (Trigger)?
One last related question
What typeof output is
Out fam(Player)[0x1].DelayWithMaster (Normal)?
I know is a CC but what I need is what relation does it represent.
Example if A is master delay with master from a is 0 so the CC represent the master clock as it revolves around the sync clock
Then B being a slave deck
Out fam(Player)[0x2].DelayWithMaster (Normal) would be either ahead or behind the CC from the master. Again I don't know if my assumptions are correct.
I am asking all this so I can correctly map my 2 Quneo supplemental controllers with the new capabilities.
I plan to map Quneo #1 to control Deck A and Deck or Sampler C with all the controls for independent triggering of loops, effects and samples. Of course Quneo #2 will control Deck B and Deck or Sampler D.
I also got a single Quneo map to control Decka A, B, C, and D as well as independent control for loops, sampler, effects and all 8 cuepoints for each. I am eager to get some amplifying information so I can finalize the mappings and share them over here for anyone interested.
