so the input volume of the turntables may be small? as long as the signal is good.

this is how i set it up: I put the gain on 5-7db

and it's ok to have it on 0db. Now I see that I have also input levels for my TC.

Crank the master into Cross to max value (0dB), connect the sound card to your mixer line inputs.
Set mixer gain somewhere around -3dB, in this way, when you will play both decks at the same time the master shouldn't override 0dB.
