Problem Configuring Headphones U-Mix Control 2

Hello,

I was recently given a U-Mix Control 2 as a bday gift. I installed all the software and seems to be working perfectly with my MacBook (basic, not Mac Book PRO) except for one issue. I can't seem to be able to configure the headphones to be able to monitor without both song audio going out through the main speakers. I noticed that a friends U-Mix Control Pro has the headphone jack for this specific purpose but mine doesn't. I connected the headphones and the speakers with a splitter. Is there anything I need to do in terms of software configuration?

open up the preferences/audio and select split mono for audio routing ,,,not the best solution,, the control pro has a intergrated sound card and has a dedicated monitor channel,,you have options ,, being a Apple system set up you have the oppunity to add two sound cards to gether to set up a monitoring system,,the best option would be to get a multi channel sc and use it to run your outputs from Cross,,

in order to suggest any solution we need to know what you are trying to accomplish /ultimiate goal,,,other words more info
