MIDI output problems - Reloop Contour

Postby BennyB on 17 Jan 2012, 12:44

Hi guys.

This time I really need a mapping programmer expert.

My problem is that the top section of the controller is used with the same functions for both chanels.

When I tried to make the output mapping, I noticed, that leds only glew on CH1, but not if I switch to CH2.
I can not map the same output function on two chanels onto one button.

(to keep is simple, I mapped the top section the same they only differ in chanel number ( channel="0x1" and channel="0x2"). But the leds only glow on the first chanel, and on the second they don't.

Can you give me any code, syntax, to be able to make it work?

Just tell me which part of the mapping file you want me to upload.

This is the top section of the controller (click on it to see the whole picture)

- Monitor A,B and FX-On/OFF only gets feedback on CH1 only (or if I only map it to CH2, they work there, so the leds are fine.

I'll appreciate your help. If I solve problems, Countor Mappings will be out soon.

The manual can be downloaded here. There is a mapping table in it.

Well, On CH2 The stuff that is dedicated only for deck B is working.

There must be a way to do it.

Well, for now I don't know what's wrong in your mapping or in Cross, I haven't perfectly understood what the controller can do and what you want to do with.

What i can say:

If the "shift" is hardware (changing the messages sent by the controller itself), the "shifted led" handling must be hardware too.

If the shift is software (in Cross mapping), there's no way to handle two states (shifted / not shifted) for the same led.

Hope this helps a bit !

Cheers,

That is the thing...
The shift is harware... I shloud handle the leds differently.

And it actually try to do it (the led without function lights up like it should, I press shift, and the led on the button keeps glowind for the unshifted, and sometimes blinks the status of the shifted function).

My problem is that If I assign an output on CH1, the same function
will not work on CH2 on any button.
