So here is the deal. I have upoloaded 1.7. So everything is up to date. The software turns on fine and all is good until I hit the source (headphone) button to cue on the U-Mix Control Pro - in either channel. THEN THE PROGRAM FREEZES

So what gives?

Never heard of that! Did you choose the "ASIO U-Mix Control Pro" as audio interface in Cross DJ? It seems as if you have choosen no or an internalt audio interface with no ASIO driver and this may cause the freeze?!

This a very weird behavior (as your track freezing in the middle...)

What happen if you click only on the cue headphones into the software (on the gui) ?

Is your audio setup as follow ?
