I need to learn how to track the bass better. Kept on canceling itself out. Any suggestions?

Thank you everyone for the support and tuning in. I got a long night tonight so maybe I can slam some more mixes out. I got an opportunity in the pipe works if it's alright with the band/group my friend is hooking me up with. We will see.

I didn't listen to, but there is a known technic of mixing the bass that is called : sidechain compression.

Just google for it. ;)

I use sidechain compression across 5 channels ;)

When listening to the song it's not as bad as it was in the headphones.
