looking for companion software for my cdj900's and I am considering the new mixvibes Cross. has anyone used it?

I wasnt impressed with traktor hid mode cause the sound was kinda muffled and it crashes when I turn off the cdjs, then I have to reprogram it. I can't have this when I'm playing for ppl. I'm on 2.6 and can't update cause I got snow leopard

so my questions are: how easy is mix vibes Cross? is it straightforward and streamlined like record box? I don't need all the bells and whistles of traktor

You can try the Demo version.
HID is supported. However sound issues have nothing to do with HID. Audio and HID use different communication protocols/drivers.

The MV team was involved in first versions of RB. So you likely notice similarities.

Bells and whistles is depending on your needs.. Features you need will be considered as tool others as B&W...
