Pioneer DDJ-1000 Controller

Hi All

Has anyway succesfully mapped the DDJ-1000 to Mix Vibe 4.2? Is it possible. Had always used earlier Mix Vibes superbly with older CDJ's in HID mode.

Looking to buy the controller today.

Or is there any alternative controller similar that had been succesfully mapped?

Thanks
Gary

Certainly the documentation to map the DDJ-1000 and 100SRT models is available for download.

My guess is that no one at Mixvibes have looked at this controller to provide a map.

Your options are to
map it yourself using MIDI learn in Cross 3.X or 4.X
4.X is still buggy so I would do Cross 3.x

buy a different controller that is already mapped in Cross
In my opinion
Cross 2.6 best version ever if you don't care about multicolor waveforms
Cross 3.4.3 best version ever if you don't care about the broken beatmatcher

Cross 4.x is still has a long way to go before I could take it as a serious DJ software.

Note: i used to do lots of mappings for controllers and other equipment for free just to help out other DJs. i even offered the maps to companies for their commercial products for free as long as they properly acknowledged my contributions. Once a company decided to sell a commercial product with my code without giving me proper credit or any compensation, I stopped. i still help Djs with this and other tech issues but it is a One on one relation of trust.

Apreciated your reply. I will take a look once I have more time. I have V2, used a lot before in HID mode with CDJ's on a mac worked really well.

To be honest I only upgraded because of the 50% offer.

Will resort back and see if its better

thank you
