Hercules Rmx with Mixvibes 7 HOME no sound through headphone

Hi,

I just bough a copy of Mixvibes 7 HOME to use with my Hercules RMX. I've used Mixvibes in the past and prefer it to the Virtual DJ which came with the Hercules. However I'm having some issues setting it up correctly. The MIDI controls work fine but I can't get any sound out of the headphone jack from the Hercules. It works with VIrtual DJ so its not a hardware issue. Also I don't get any of the buttons lighting up yet I do with the DVS demo [but still no headphone signal]?

Can anyone help?

Good to hear you want to stay on MixVibes
It sound like your Audio routing is not correct.
Would you please post your config report so i can see what you´ve done wrong. (file->config report)

Shure this is your whole config report?
The Sound settings part seems a little bit short.
Did you select your Hardware Outputs of your Hercules in MixVibes settings?
You can assign one Channel as Monitor (Headphone).
This is where the sound goes to if you hit the Monitoring Button in MixVibes

Yeah this is the complete file. HOME version has a lot less options. For example no ASIO...but this shouldn't matter as I have two sound cards...correct?

I've now read somewhere on the forum that you can't monitor through headphones with HOME...is this rumour true?

When I try to assign the monitor channel as the Hercules I only get the (speaker) option....and I get nothing for my headphones when selected.

do you youse your RMX as a sound interface? or do you want to control mixvibes with it (soundoutput to soundcards)

Haha...sorry. I want to have the master output from my on-board sound card and monitor through the RMX headphone jack. If this is not possible then interfacing through the RMX would not be an issue. I just want to be able to monitor cued tracks in my headphones, whilst keeping a single master output coming out of my main speakers, otherwise I can't really see how I can DJ?!
