Hi HouseJunkie,

sorry to hear about your problem, im just an user, you should PM UNCLEVIBES OR JIEL,

They usually don't take so long to give some sort of answers, but remenber they are busy in the 10 year anniversary, and the update for Cross,

good luck,

DJ Persio.

I've tried what you suggested with no results. I decided to just tape my serial number to my laptop.... Pretty ghetto :(

*** UPDATE ***

I LOVE TRAKTOR! No Skipping, no annoying noises when changing tracks and cpu usage is at 12% instead of 100%. Mixvibes Cross is garbage software (Or Beta at Best) with zero technical support. Might run good on mac but on PC it is RIDDLED with bugs, errors and annoyances. STAY AWAY FROM Cross!

Hopefully those journeys don't include an EPIC FAILURE in front of 100's of people resulting in a bad name for you. Good luck with mixvibes I choose a company that has Tech Support and GOOD software :P

Cheers!

Hey HouseJunkie,
We understand your frustration. Last question: did you update your software to the latest version? downloads.php?cat=6

Finnally figured it out

SO what was the issue with the skipping ?

I decided to just tape my serial number to my laptop....

try a word pad file kinda easier to manipulate.

your serial number issue should be solved very soon.

I LOVE TRAKTOR! No Skipping, no annoying noises when changing tracks and cpu usage is at 12% instead of 100%.

Is that really necessary ?

I thought you had solved your CPU/sound skipping issue... There's some kind of problem with your set-up. Cross especially the PC version is very CPU-friendly...

What version are you using ? What kind of controller are you using ? CD, vinyl, MIDI ?

I think he's a lost cause so MV team should save its energy and focus on what went wrong for this guy cause it's likely to happen to another one.

I don't know if it's always like that but tech support via the forum has been a little absent lately. you guys need to have someone 24/7 dedicated to this because otherwise, it will seem like you don't care and it's one of the worst thing for newcomers who have problems. even if you don't know what the problem is ;)
