Does anyone know if you can record a set straight from the mix vibe program? And if so how do you go about it?

Direct recording is a very simple and effective means of recording your mix, though this method is limited to users who choose to use the internal mixer features of Mixvibes and MIDI control with two stereo outputs (Master Out & Monitor out).

this is for recording the output of mixvibes using mixvibes its self.

read it propperly.. no no other system setting are requiered.

So is what you are saying that this program isnt meant to be a stand alone program? Its basically used to go through external mixers or other equipment? Sorry just new to all this. And bought this mixvibes because I tried the demo and love the look and operation of the program but bought it with the intention to use it as a stand alone internal mixing program all together.

Yes... it is stand alone! Mixvibes can record itself, that what that section of the tutorial covers (Setting up Direct Recording.).

Tutorial wrote:Direct Recording
This method is only available under certain circumstances. Mixing using a simple two stereo channel setup with external control such as a MIDI controller, computer keyboard or the actual user interface can enable you to record directly onto your computer using the record function on the main output rack within Mixvibes.
