thanks for reporting your issues, but do you really expect an update within a week ?

Delivering a perfect timecode is our priority, however we have a lot of stuff going on and our developpers are tied up for a few more days. You will need to be patient, and wait for our team to work/test the fix. The timecode is the most sensitive part of a DVS system. It's not a small deal to modify it.

Please hang onto your seats. we are going to tke care of this.

no i dont expect a update within a week but since i told you my method for calibration with old version , you as "the voice of the mv team " could of said ok ill try this or i have tested this method and you are right or i dont think any difference etc etc and as for the team working on other issues i understand this, but dont you think a drift problem as bad as this should be no. 1 on the list as it is the backbone of the product ...............

Hey no problem, but i actually did test the versions and post about it m8...

Have you been reading the topic ?

polocorp wrote:I saw troubl do some mad beat juggling action with james Brown's funky president at Plasa...

We tested 6.28 vs 7.100

=> drift :

- no drift on scratch motions on either version

=> backspin

- 7.100 backspin seems ok except for very drastic spins
-6.28 bacspin still of on drastic backspins but reacts slightly better indeed

Result : we are going to compare the differences of time code analysis btw the versions and recover whatever was better. eric think it might be a sound filter he added on version 6.29 to eliminate non-connected ground noise.

So indeed you are right there is a better timecode response on 6.28

thanks for pointing it out. We take this feedback very seriously. We'll be improving on the next version.

have i been reading the post ?????? :frown: yes i have ,the question is have you if you take the time to read my last again you will see that i gave you my method for calibrating 6.282 in which you will find there is a much improved back spin and not slightly as you found by calibrating normally ........... maybe if you spent more time reading the posts than writing sarcastic comments you would understand my point ............ and as for me wanting a update within a week if you read my posts and speak to uncle vibes you will know that ive been posting about this problem for over 4 months !!!!!!!!!!!!

Try to keep a level attitude here. what more can we do than actually test your configuration, give you our honest feedback and tell you to be patient while we fix the issue ?

I've taken the time to read all your posts and was only pointing out the fact that I had ALREADY answered your question. Thanks for the +dB tip.

BTW I actually took the time to demonstrate this issue to Eric a couple of days ago. I'm sorry the problem was not tackled 4 months ago when you first pointed it ut. We are now aware of it and going to solve the issue.

ok so have you had a chance to test the plus 10 db method ? and if so did you find it was better ? as before you used this method you said slightly better , did you find there was a better by far response using this method and will this be implemented in the next update ? all i am asking for is some reply in text about whats going on etc ... i dont expect a update within minutes of my post , just a lil response ?

its hard just sitting here with a product that i cant use , fair enuff if i was a dance DJ i would be ok but im not when i bought mixvibes it was nt advertised as a dance DVS but as a DVS so you can understand why im getting a little bit mad ive spent a lot of money in trying different things.....sound cards, new turntables ,needles , vinyl etc etc when really the problem was with the software

There's about a hundred posts a day on the forums, all I expect is a little patience and respect on your side too. MixVibes is not a dance DVS... we showcase some of the top TTblists on the scene. Somehow they manage... and I have seen some intense beat juggling action. There are also hundreds of satisfied TTblists on the forum.

To answer your question, +10 db didn't make any difference to me. Then again I'm not the best of beatjugglers. Waiting for Troubl' as i mentionned for a real test + to post a video. He's coming by Friday.

I've been back with the team for only 2 weeks. trying to make things move in a positive way. Not saying that I'm the forum super hero or anything :mrgreen: , but i'm putting a lot of time into it.

since i've been back, there's been a little less than a hendred a day, we're pretty close though. :lol:

Sorry if I've been a little harsh with MDR, doing my level best to help him out :D
