Big distortion new ESI U46DJMKII was a driver problem

The battery is 100 % ( it s a new one from yesterday )

I had a performance problem with my Siemens Laptop when working in MixVibes with the battery pluged in.

but is it ok to use you re laptop whitout battery ?? i read somewhere it can damage you re laptop when power 230V peaking. it s not always stable

Hi ,

please do me a favour ,
go into windows control panel > Power Options > and put power schemes to the value "Home/Office Desk" or "always On"
reboot , and retry your test.

it really sound slike the typical driver issue. make sure you install driver 1,16 as metionned here : search.php?search_id=egosearch

In the ASIO driver panel choice (use the install wizard) selected ESI ASIO 2.0 driver. finish the install and test !

the people from mixvibes sended me a new driver from esi bit i could install the driver but when i started mixvibes DVS he said no asio driver ?

that is probably my mistake . i first have deleted the other driver .

today i played back whit the v1.0.26 driver ( the one on the disk ) was better but not great . I m getting little frustrated

So firt uninstall other driver and then ?

if all above doesn't work, just reformat your PC and start fresh.

plug in your soundcard(*without installing from the disk first*). let windows detect it as USB AUDIO
then install your driver from disc/download
install mivibes and update
and run mixvibes after update and "auto" detect your soundcard ..
set latency as advice .... and you should be almost good to go ...

when i instal this driver normaly i get error i n mixvibes DVS No asio drivers installed . this seems normal because windows xp takes over the instalattion from me when i start the PC whit the U46 soundcard in my laptop . so he installs wrong drivers usb generetic or so . I can not install the esi ones because windows ask for .ini files when i install them manual .

When i just install the driver as i get it from mixvibes support it doens t work .

Pls help me so i can enjoy mixvibes after two weeks of distortion
