MIDI problem

Postby Mihai Pinciu on 19 Jan 2019, 10:14

I can't find the MIDI option in the advance settings menu no more... is that because of an update that automaticaly switches to MIDI controller when connected? And if so.... why my MIDI controller isn't recognized? Or, if not supported, at least to get a notification to know that... thanks

Hi Mihai Pinciu,

More recent versions of Android made MIDI plug and play so the MIDI connect option was no longer needed if you are running at least Android 6 (i believe).

Make sure the controller is on and plugged in before launching Cross DJ

If that doesn't work let me know what controller you are using and if you are on Cross DJ Pro or Free (Pro is the one you want for most MIDI connections Free will only work with the Gemini Mix2Go)

And using a powered USB hub may be required to supply sufficient power to the controller (and will charge phone as well)
