ReMixlive 2.0.1 crashing VST and AU Hosts

Postby atlatnesiti on 02 Nov 2018, 14:16

ReMixlive 2.0.1 crashing VST and AU Hosts.
After updating ReMixlive through App Store to version 2.01 all my DAW's are crashing on start up and "blacklisting" ReMixlive Plugins.
These include:Cubase Pro 9.5 and Logic Pro X.
Surprisingly Ableton Live 10 Suite is managing to load AU version, but VST is invisible.
I have never experienced this with previous version of ReMixllive...
Help, Suggestions?

Hi atlatnesiti,

Sorry you are experiencing DAW crashes when trying to use Remixlive as a plugin!

Can you let me know your computer specs and what OSX version you have installed? Hopefully with some more details I can try to replicate the bug and if I cannot come up with a quick solution I will bring it up with the developers right away.

Well, what a disappointment that nothing has been done about it.
I have uninstalled RemixLive with the help from “find any file’ app, so I don’t have anything mixlive related on my drive.
Very disappointed

Sorry atlatnesiti,

I have forwarded this topic and other similar issues to the team, and they can hopefully issue a fix soon.

If you would like a refund, unfortunately you would have to contact Apple Customer Support directly, since you purchased through the Mac App Store.

Regards,

So I have gave it another try and installed the latest .02 update in hope that that will fix above issues.
Well, it didn't and now even Live is crashing upon loading VST.
Logic and Cubase Pro is more forgiving and just blacklists Remixlive on startup to prevent crashing.
Bottom line, latest .02 update didn't fix anything.
As per your suggestion, I've contacted Apple requesting full refund, what a joke.
Definitely wan't be doing any business with Mixvibes any time soon.
What a shame

Hello again and sorry about the disappointment.

I have let the team know about your findings and other similar reports from other users, but do not know when they will be able to issue an update to fix it.

Also sorry that you have to deal with Apple for a refund, but unfortunately we cannot access an order history for iOS/Mac App Store purchases to issue refunds. For purchases made directly from our web shop, we can issue refunds directly.
