A little rant.

Postby kompleet on 29 Sep 2018, 18:07

Bought Cross DJ 4 years ago, and since, there have been little to none updates.

I love the software, but the fact it's lacking multi soundcards support is totally crazy. Vdj does it. Why don't you ?

I have a Scarlett 2i2 MKII and a Xone:DX, but I can't preview on headphones. And don't talk about asio4all, it's a mess.

Using Asio4all really is the way to do this. Using this for Cross and other audio programms like Audacity. Even using 3 soundcards works for me.

Depending on the options per sc driver be sure to disable all in/out channels that you don't use as each channel of a sc takes CPU capacity whether in use or not.

If you're using W8 or W10 you'd best start checking if the manufacterers sc driver are still in use. Some Win updates in the past caused changes to using MS drivers.
