Hi there,
I ham trying to get a U-Mix Control Pro running. SO far I have installed Cross DJ on a Windows 10 64 bit machine. I am running the 64 bit version of the software and it opens OK and in fact without installing any separate drivers the software responds to the hardware and faders and buttons move in synch.
SO far though I can't get headphone output.
I suspect I will need to set the soundcard up. When I went to the settings/audio I could see in the box that it was still using the built in sound card (Speaker/HP (RealTEK High Definition Audio). The box appeared to be a dropdown which appeared thus:
DirectSound
Speakers (MixVibes U-Mix Control Pro) Speaker/HP (RealTEK High Definition Audio)
Currenlty the realtek was checked.
When I tried to select the U-Mix I got a message:
Error while opening Speakers (MixVibes U-Mix Control Pro): "Bad format"
Is this likely be a driver issue (I have not installed any drivers yet)?
Any ideas?
Many thanks, Rob

the drivers for the U-Mix Control Pro are 32 bit ,, in your download there are two software versions ,,64 bits ,,labeled such ,,and 32 bit ,, try running 32 bit ,, will post screen shots of audio panel set up ,,

audio Capture.PNG 32 bit Capture.PNG at bottom of posting page is a tab saying upload attachments ,, you can use this for info ,, in your computer audio set up select the computer sc as default ,, that way the U-Mix sc is avaible for Cross to use ,

OK,
So on the desktop of the PC are a shortcut to the 64 bit and 32 bit version.
I closed the 64 bit version and opened the app using the 32 bit link. I went to the settings and did the same operation (selecting the U-Mix) and got the exact same error message.

Hi Daniel,
I have just installed the 1.0.3 volume panel.
There is now a shortcut to it on the desktop but when I double click it doesn't open. Going to try hard resetting the PC.

drivrer Capture.PNG should look like this when opened up ,, need a screen shot of your Cross audio panel with the drop down selection ,, if volume panel is not there ,,then there is a alternative method ,,

Major progress. After a hard reset the PC can now open the control panel and it looks similar to your screenshot. When I open 32 bit 3.4.3 none of the lights come up on the U-Mix Control Pro HOWEVER I do have sound through the headphones! This makes me very happy as hopefully it means this is just a config issue and not a hardware failure on the U-Mix.\ nb. The sound through the headphones seems to be the final mix rather than the pre fade. But its progress at last. Thanks for help so far. Screenshot (3).png OK!
