mapping for behringer BCD 3000

Sorry I have tried all ways to follow the suggestions but when I do there is nowhere to type all the mappings except in search at the bottom of the list .If I click on input mappings my computer shows document files and there is no mapping file there as I have not imported a file . what should I do give up on Cross ?

Sorry, but not fully clear where the problem starts

The default mappings in Cross cannot be edited and are not available. However you can copy these using the x2 button.
The copied file will be saved in a path like
c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\mixvibes\controllers\MIDI\...
file extension .mapping

If you now look in the file using a text editor you should be able to find the structure as mentioned by FigDJ.
