Mix2gopro not working with Cross DJ

Postby Leo Gonzalez on 13 Dec 2016, 19:44

Hello,

Here a little back story, I purchased this product mix2gopro at guitar store. It's compatible with the app Cross DJ. It work with no issue on my iPad, or iPhone, but with Android it won't connect or read my phone. I have tried different troubleshooting and no avail. I sent an email to support, and no response.

My phone is update as well the app.

Is there a fix for this issue? I seen online Android phone is having issue with this product and no solution from devs to fix it.

Any help would be greatly appreciate

Thank you

Soundcard not available/working? Try the 32bit version of Cross (is also installed).

Think there may be a different issue here, Though don't know exactly.

Your controller likely is bundled with the Cross LE software. Which is a Win/Mac product. In the days this product came to market the Androis version didn't exist.

Please be aware that the product is created/bundled by the manufacturer. Mixvibes is not involved in this design or sales proces.

When the Android app of Cross was introduced MIDI wasn't a standard by Android. Some special programming made this possible. For that only some controllers were MIDI mapped. Nowadays MIDI is more common being supported, but even now it's depending on the implementation of the hardware manufacturer of each phone (or even provider) if it's actually supported.

Using a USB hub isn't just for android. Basically it even isn't required. Not using a powered(!) hub will result in your battery being drained in no time. Your device using high CPU, active screen and a light a controller won't last more than a couple of hours (in lucky situations).
