Cross DJ (3.3) won't recognize/sync with my iTunes librar

I have a new macbook pro with iTunes 12.3 (And Apple music). I downloaded DJ Cross yesterday and it will not recognize or sync with my iTunes library. Nothing shows up when I click on the iTunes icon or playlist button. I've tried all the different importing options (importing my playlists, from directory,files etc) but nothing happens. It will not allow me to open any music. This is very frustrating as I'm expected to DJ a friends party tonight. This didn't happen on my old computer with older version of iTunes/Cross DJ. What do I do??

May it be you use 3.3.10. If so please register your license key so you can download the latest version. 3.3.11 has modifications to work with the 'improvements' of El Capitan.

Please let's know is this solves it.

Thanks for your reply Ronald. I checked and I actually have 3.3.11 and the iTunes is 12.3.2.35.

It is still not working. Is there anything else I can do?

You should make sure you actually have iTunes installed and not (just) Apple music. I'm not a MAC user so don't know exactly how this is different, but recently someone had this issue.

Also make sure your reference to the iTunes lib is OK (on top of tree when in iTunes node).

I definitely do have iTunes installed. I only got Apple music recently. Can you explain more about the second part of your message? What tree are you talking about?

maybe do a iTunes repair as you installed Apple music afterwards.

just trying to suggested simple to do things...

Thanks. I figured it out. I had to go into iTunes advanced preference, and check the box where it says "Share iTunes library xml with other applications", it was unchecked. That seemed to do the trick. I am now noticing though, that none of the music that I have downloaded from Apple music is showing up in DJ Cross. IS there any way to share/sync Apple music songs with DJ Cross?

Not sure.. You could maybe try dragging if you can download the music to disk. There for sure isn't a streaming option in Cross.

A theoretical workaround could be to route the Am output to a different output channel and send to an input (line/mic) and send trough a Cross deck. But if you've never done such before I wouldn't start doing this in the last hours before as you need to have the right settings and pay attention to the input selection of your deck... you might sometimes forget to switch back to deck input.. (I also learned the hard way...)

Having the same issues as you after I changed to New MacBook Pro. Took me days to figure out how to sync with iTunes.

I have the latest Cross DJ version3.4.3 on Apple iMac and I cannot access the iTunes library. I can find the library when I browse but it will not let me select. Please help. I purchased this app so as to use it in conjunction with iTunes!! Thanks in advance. I have checked the box in iTunes advanced settings but I still cannot access the music
