play and stop at same time

Postby carretto on 13 Sep 2016, 21:01

hi, I use demo version with mac and no external deck.
I have a track playing on the right desk and a track stopped and cued on the left. I want to start the left one and stop the right one at the same time. Is it possible ?

Thank you.

Yes you can assign the 2 actions to a keyboard command.

Though it's not a typical way to go as it doesn't create smooth transitions.

Soundcard not available/working? Try the 32bit version of Cross (is also installed).

Carretto: just know that there is an Automix feature as well, that basically makes a basic, extremely simple transition for you (= it crossfades, that is going from song A to song B).

thank you!

I know how to assign a command to a key but seems not possible to assign 2 commands to the same keys. How can I do?

Checked my mapping.. It's easier.. In section All Player, you can select Play/Pause. Each player will switch it's state, so play> pause or pause > play.
Be aware that this also applies to the 4 player state.
