quiet a few ways ,,just let it play and have your gap of silence then start the next track
 or you can put the silence with a music editor ,,audicy for one

if you have Cross software ,,the video section has a text editor ,,which can possibily be used for such and endevor ,,

thank you and best regards

Hi,

Djing most of the times is based on Cross fading and beat matching but some parties like in Tango events the DJ needs are different, the tracks must be separated by 3 or 4 seconds of silence and there is no DJ software in the market that has this feature.

Related to the track name display info... in this type of events people like to know what Orquestra they are listening so it would be nice to have a projection with this information using the video capabilities of your software.

Hope I was more clear now with the explanation.
best regards

Hi,
Dan, I believe Vasco could achieve displaying the name of the song via the text titler in Cross with video color & movement up/down & even sideways with speed built in or stationary text if need be. He could even display text 'on the fly' which could solve his next song dilemma (in a changing song/playlist environment).
Or he could even set up all his texting & even imaging in the titler before the gig if he knew the playlist was etched in stone. All he would have to do is click on the desired (text) preset by name of song.
I do it all the time on gigs with much success. Just an idea.
