Is there a native support between Cross DJ and the Pioneer DDJ - RB ?

I think there is no native support for this controller. This one is so new and for using recordbox DJ.

You can only map it by your own with MIDI learn.

I already examine the internal for this controller and everything is mapable to Cross. if you already own the controller and commit to test and provide feedback I can make this map possible with the help of a tester.

The "R" in RB stands for RekordBox DJ as opposed to the "S" in SB for Serato. Like the RX this is a controller made EXCLUSIVELY for RekordBox DJ. I have not heard of any successful test with other software, but I don't know everything :-).

However, the SB(2) supports Serato and you can map it to any other software (including RecordBox DJ btw). Why would you want to buy the RB if you don't plan on using RekordBox DJ?

It really doesn't make any sense imho.

Rekordbox capabilities are rapidly increasing and moving forward.

Based on my observations of the release rate they seem to be in a cycle of 2 weeks development sprints with regular releases every 2 sprints. That puts their cycle at middle of the month for bug fixes and end of the month for new capabilities. In fact moving very fast.

In addition, all the R series controller work with Rekordbox out of the box and with Serato with a small setup change stated in their manual.

Lastly, the R series controller seems to be ahead of the tech curve (at least one generation ahead) than that of the equivalent S series and when looking under the hood they have more MIDI capable hardware and the S series. (More hardware based MIDI addresses and multiole parameter LED)

Taking it all in consideration it makes sense (at least to me) to go for an R series controller in order to cover all the bases as Rekordbox becomes more capable.

Got it. Good to know you CAN use them for other software too.
