Mappings and LED buttons

Postby Andyjcc on 28 Nov 2015, 01:04

Hi. I could do with some assistance from people brighter than me please.

I've just bought a Behringer CMD DC-1 controller. I've mapped all the functions I want to the various buttons and knobs, but this doesn't affect changing the colour of the lit buttons. Is there any easy way of getting around this so I know what is on or off, for example?

I'm not much of a programmer so have no real idea how to do this by script, plus I don't know what software to use to read/write the script for .mappings files. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance
Andy

You're in 4 a treat, now that you've got the input mappings that's a start. The leds are output mappings and those are a little harder. Go too this page viewtopic.php?f=401&t=19330 and hopefully you get to know how you've got to map them.
The only person that knows this kind of stuff and is willing to help is FigDJ, he does this in his spare time ;)

The bad news on this, don't count on the MV staff cuz you will be death and buried before you're leds are mapped

Use this:

http://danlin.de/projekte/crossmap/

It is much easier to map lights with that than trying to mess around with the script and notepad.
