Advanced Snap Function

Would be nice to have a snap function that snaps to the zero point of the waveform so that seeking and other MIDI commands won't induce popping and clicking.

What do you mean zero point? Do you mean snap to the beginning of the track?

I don't understand what you mean by popping and clicking. The snap and quant are both for the purpose of avoiding this....

Not meaning to say it always can work flawless.

Generaly a value of 1 is the safest though not all music is created to fit the beat...

Not sure if it were easy to implement that, sounds it could be a real resource hog. BUT dunno whether it would be better to have some sort of fast volume 'fade in/out' after every seek step, guess that would prevent some clicking (not sure how big of a hit this would take on CPU resources though). With beat driven music there are less clicks as the beat grid is steady and also clicks get lost under the percussive sound attacks though. Really never given any thought on this before so not an issue for me personally.
